My wife and I spent a couple of nights in the Machan (treehouse) at Asante Lodging to celebrate my 70th birthday. Our stay was fantastic! The Machan was unique as expected and was perfect for the two of us. The Texas / Africa decor was excellent. The deck area was a great place to sip a drink and visit in the evening. Wow, I cannot rave about Asante enough! My friends and I discovered this gem, and it was perfect for our college reunion. The big house was perfect for those with babies to be able to put baby monitors on the window sill outside so parents could still enjoy pool time while the little ones slept. The kitchen was also perfect to cook meals for all 13 adults. No one ever felt on top of one another, even when all 16 of us were in the big house at the same time. The space is absolutely beautiful—clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. Kim is incredibly helpful and kind, making every visit such a positive experience. She truly goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Highly recommend!
Beautiful secret getaway! Lots of wildlife to observe, home was very clean and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable! Close enough to be an easy drive from San Antonio/New Braunfels, but excluded enough to not worry about other renters disturbing the peace. One of my top favorite staycation spots for sure!
