I had emergency back surgery 5 years ago. I had herniated disks pinching nerves. Got surgery 2 days later and was walking the next day without pain. The Dr.s and nurses all were awesome.

Almost a month now and we still do not have a new working glucosemeter and testing strips. My mom and I have called the MD office several times. Either they didn't bother putting in an order or they entered it wrong. Also visits to the ARRMC ED are horrific. My mom is 94 years old so we always are waiting til the waiting room is cleared of all younger folks even those coming in after us. We usually go to Ashland. Ashland ED has a whole different feel. The pre-checkin speeded check-in up. The staff was very professional. MY Asante "My Chart" apt kept me updated on what all I needed to do. The staff that tended to all my needs before the doctor arrived were professional but very friendly. My Doctor is great, listening to what I have to say and explaining to me all the thing he found and what I needed to do.

The employees were GREAT. Just not enough of them. The wait in Waiting room Was awful. Finally got seen after sitting for 5 hours. People hacking and coughing and puking in bags. And many giving up and leaving after waiting for hours. This is an administration failure of their employees and their patients....
