My son recently celebrated turning 6 with a fantastic birthday party thrown by As Burgers Go. He has an ASD diagnosis, moderately verbal, requires quite a bit of support, and I am always conflicted/anxious when it comes to celebrating his birthday. On April 29, 2024, my wife and my lives changed forever with the birth of our first child Haisley Hart. Though birth is supposed to be a beautiful thing my wife and the baby had a very traumatic experience. YEARS of feeding therapy and no progress. Until I finally found someone that understands my son and his feeding issues. Lauren is the ABSOLUTE best!!! My son made more progress in the first 20mins of feeding therapy than he has ever made in the many years of feeding therapy at other places. The way she connected with him right away was amazing. I highly recommend Lauren and she is such a pleasure to work with.

Sadly most people see a child with special needs in a false light . They see their challenges alone . They see them as weird , awkward, difficult, “too much “ , loud , distracting, disruptive, uncontrolled , annoying , an embarrassment, …. The list goes on and on . Lauren did my son’s (joint) 6 yr bday party with a friend and she knocked it out of the park. It is such a luxury to just show up to the venue and simply enjoy a party for your child. And that’s what Lauren made happen for us! The staff made sure the kids had a blast— They made slime, played at a bunch of different sensory stations, water play, made their own (awesome) goodie bags, and of course pizza and cake.
