Dr. Baer was extremely patient and thorough with us when we had a 4 day stay at Hackensack with our son. We were having trouble finding a diagnosis due to unusual complications, but Dr. Baer made himself always available for questions to lessen our anxiety and walked us through every result we received until our son started feeling better.

Dr. Baer was the best of 8+ doctors we encountered during and after a week long stay in Children's unit at Hackensack. He spent time talking, explaining and learning the history of my child's illness. He put the puzzle together. If I could give him a 10 star review, I would. At follow up, he offered comforting feedback and directions and gave me very specific written information to have (you know how they usually blow through information but you're so tired and scared you can't comprehend?
