As a now retired Physical Therapist I have had 45 years of interaction with physicians. I can tell who is interested in truly helping patients and who is not. 1) he didn't listen to my concerns. 2) I'm 76 and have been seeing dermatologist for skin check ups since my late 20's, early 30's. Every other dermatologist always took a very small biopsy to send to the lab for evaluation. For the past few months I had to deal with a difficult skin condition that was unidentifiable by other doctors that had seen me. Dr. Venkat immediately recognized what I was dealing with and got me the proper help and medication that resolved my issue. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Venkat as I had lost hope on my health condition. Within two weeks my skin was healthy and better. Dr. Venkat is very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive.

I wish I could give Dr. Venkat less than one star. This was the absolute worst experience. He advised me that Accutane was my only option and when I had questions and concerns he told me I was not ready to make a decision and walked out of our appointment. He also said anxious people like yourself tend to read blogs and make things worse for yourself when I told him I had done some research on the drug. I left the office feeling more discouraged than ever. I do not recommend him.
