Five stars—again—for Arturo's Bistro on Marco Island. Our most recent dinner at Arturo's was our sixth visit since first discovering the restaurant in May 2025, when we celebrated our anniversary there. I really wanted to love Arturo’s Bistro because the food was genuinely excellent, but unfortunately the overall experience left a lot to be desired. We came for dinner as a family of five and were a little surprised by the location, tucked inside a shopping center that felt somewhat out of the way. When we walked in, there was a man singing karaoke/live music at an extremely high volume in the bar area. The bill was a total scam! Actual check tallied correctly but credit card slip reflected a much higher price. Waiter took it back and returned with the explanation that it was a problem with the system. I don’t believe this! We fear this place scams older patrons like my parents as it happened to us tonight. Nice food, not nice treatment of customers.
For my husband's 50th, we had celebrated it in Marco Island. My plan was to have the food catered so our time was spent obviously having fun. As he loves Italian style food, Autro's was the best choice. The location was close and their menu was spot-on to what I was looking for. Diana was so helpful guiding me though their catering options putting everything in order, just how I hoped for.
