Do not go here. They do not know how to check insurance correctly. Made an appointment 3 weeks ago and they said my insurance (Aetna PPO) was good. I get there for the appointment and THEN they tell me it’s not taken. Why was it good when I made the appointment? Why is Aetna PPO not accepted when the Aetna site said he is in network, and again it’s an Aetna PPO. My previous colonoscopies were performed at hospitals and the experience was lengthy and intimidating. My recent colonoscopy was performed at Dr. Olivera’s office and the experience was the exact opposite - pleasant and relaxed. The staff was courteous, efficient, and professional. I changed into a gown, was taken to the procedure room, greeted by Dr. Olivera, given an IV and immediately fell asleep. The next thing I knew, I was awake and given my results. Great experience. Great doctor.
Great Doctor, and Amazing Human Being, the Staff is so nice they make you feel welcome from the beginning, it was my first time and I felt like I known them for years, that is how comfortable they make you feel.
Based upon my Internist’s referral, I called Dr. Olveria's office to make an appointment for a diagnostic colonoscopy. I was told by his office that an office consult was required first (an unusual requirement per my experience). I made the appointment and showed up on time, filled out forms and waited, and waited. An hour later, I asked the assistant what time could I expect to be seen, the reply was one more hour – no explanation, no apologies for the 2 hr. delay. I walked out.
Dr. Olivera is a nice guy. He has a great bedside manner. He also knows his field well. I wouldn't let any other GI Dr. touch me.
