Sadly not the greatest experience. We went and the store was a bit under construction. I wish the employee told us that because I would have waited. We go in employee not attentive customers had to guide us. Stuff was everywhere I get they are relocating to a new space but a sign or something would help. I also did not know they need 10 days to complete the piece. My child was very disappointed but it’s my fault for not knowing to ask so I asked the employee if I could pay more. This place is nearly impossible to get in contact with. Went there almost 2 months ago and still trying to pick up our mugs. I’ve tried to go on several occasions and they’re always closed, even during the operational hours. I always try to call before going since it’s almost an hour away and no one is ever there to pick the phone up. Very frustrating when you try to go during their open times and find the door locked. Won’t be returning
Our first visit to Artsy in Somerville back in Fall 2024 was a pleasant experience, which led my wife to purchase a gift card in December. Unfortunately, by the time we planned to return, the Somerville location had closed without any prior notice or email communication. My family visited here for a Mother’s Day painting session and had a great time. Love how down to earth and helpful the owner Mike is. The place was packed and everyone left happy.
