Too bad they are permanently closed now.
After many many years, Artsmith's Jewelers will be closing their doors forever. I've only been there once myself, however, while I was there, I overheard a few patrons try and talk the owner into not retiring and staying open. What greater testament to the quality of a life spent doing what you love and doing it well can a craftsman ever receive than that. Can't believe this place is closing! So sad! They put a new diamond in my wife's wedding ring for our 7th anniversary. About 10 years later there was an issue, and they fixed it for free no questions asked. I couldn't believe it. 50 years though is a long time to serve a community - enjoy your retirement you deserve it!
Just went in to get a watch battery replaced and they were quick in accommodating me, did a great job, and the charge was quite reasonable
