I've got to say, California Arts Council is actually terrible, the worst grant giving body I've ever dealt with in the world. I did grant assessments for them throughout 2020 and I am STILL trying to get paid for the work undertaken. However my efforts get met with either silence, excuses or new hoops to jump that once completed never realise the payment. It's now less about the money but more on the principle of it.
