Artistry in Wood ripped me off for $1650. Robert Leal, owner, came and gave me a quote, took measurements for a fireplace mantle, took my check, cashed it that same day, but never even started the job. This happened in December 2011. I've since then sued him, reported him to the CA State Licensening Board, in which his Contractors license was already revoked, and he still has not paid me back. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY
Robert Leal (Artistry In Wood) is a very dishonest business person who came into my home, presented a flashy portfolio, signed an agreement with me to build an entertainment center, accepted thousands of dollars from me and skipped town (Brentwood, CA) while lying to me about the work being "nearly done" for months. This person, to the best of my knowledge, has a revoked California business license, has ripped off other people that I've since met, and is not to be trusted in your home.
