I had a euro mount done for my mule deer this year and Ryan did an amazing job on it. It came out better than I expected and he was very responsive when I asked for updates or had questions. The butchering also was the best I have had done out of the last 3 shops ive been to. The brats and snack sticks were great and all the other cuts were very high quality. I am definately using Ryan for my next deer.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE……… I took them my bear, Oct 2023. They said it would take 1 year gave them deposit no issues, I called to check in after the first year, they said they are working on new customers and it will be late. Ok he said 2 months I waited, called in 2 months he said he hasn’t gotten it back from the tannery, ok no problem he said he called and would be in the next batch. 1 year later I asked again he said he was sorry and found my bear He sent me pictures of a bear he said was mine. Ghosted, refused to make righr. 600$. Do not recommend. Avoid.
Booner Taxidermy/Cottonwood Meat and Taxidermy, paid top tier price, waited much longer than I was quoted and my mount was completely trashed. This is the worst place to go with horrible customer service. Please avoid this place and don’t waste your time and money. This company will ruin your hard work and patience that you took during the hunt and crush your dreams of a beautiful mount. I bagged my first California black bear in Sept 2022. I'm not local to the area so I checked out a few taxidermists and ended up leaving my bear with Ryan. I was told it would take 12-18 months and it ended up taking 27 months because there were a few issues along the way, most of them not being his fault. The wait plus the issues and his change in policies made the whole process more stressful, especially since this was the first mount I've ever paid for.
