Update: Just to confirm this review is for the location 6813 Springfield Town Center, Springfield, VA 22150. It appears the owner of this establishment consistently reports 1 star reviews to get them taken away and that’s why in the past 7 month it doesn’t seem to have any new reviews. I’d like to start by saying that the front desk lady who checked us in was absolutely amazing! The customer service at this location is terrible. I came in to inquire whether I could redeem Aveda's teacher appreciation discount in-store on the haircare products. Aveda's website clearly states it offers students, teachers, first responders, healthcare workers and military personnel a 20% discount. One of the two women seated at the desk clearly was in an irritated mood as her tone was curt. She said, "we only offer discounts to those in the military" and asked if I was in the military. If I could give more stars, I would! I made the mistake of cutting my own hair and called—they got me in that day. Sandra was so kind — she knew that I was new to the area and ended up writing down a bunch of ideas for me to check out. Maria fixed my terrible haircut that I gave myself and was so lovely. I look and feel so much better. I’ll be back!
