A while back we hired Artisan Pool and Spa to build our pool & spa. We have absolutely nothing but good things to say about the quality, craftsmanship and service that we received from this company. They delivered on time and in budget. After the project was complete they made sure we understood how to operate our pool. We recommend anyone looking to build a pool and / or spa to hire Artisan Pool and Spa !!
This was one of the worst building experiences of our life. The pool was supposed to be finished in 4 months... total it took almost a year. Artesian told us that they use workers that work exclusively for Artesian pools. This was not true. I would have to call the office to ask when their crews would be back. I would get the response..... what do you mean they are not there..... there would be up to 3 to 4 weeks that workers would not show up at a time because they were working on other projects. Please shop around. Ask for several past clients and call them. Ask for photos and contractor references. Anyone can have a large portfolio of contractors, but it's having good relationships and results with clients as sell as contractors that tells a good company. Mike did not stick to the contract, provided a vague contract, and did a bait and switch on materials. We just finished our dream home and Mike and Artisan Pools did our pool. He was involved from the very beginning and worked with us in a difficult terrain and setting. Our pool turned out AMAZING! Everyone who come to our home comments on what a gorgeous pool it is and the setting is incredible. Mike and his crew did a really great job and we would highly recommend him and his company to anyone who would ask us. Thanks for doing such a great job.
It disturbs me that I even have to write this review, but I'm in hopes to save someone else from a lot of grief. Without going into great detail, this was & is probably the worst experience we have ever had. 6 months later our pool is complete, but definitely painful getting to this point & we are still waiting on a couple items. Mike Kane is unprofessional and out of touch on his projects. My advice is to you is shop around! There are responsible & reliable pool builders in Boerne, unfortunately, Artisan isn't one of them. ... read more
