New, improved and worth the trip! This place is a wonderful little treasure for North Asheville! The new location at 1020 Merrimon is a thousand percent better than their original location across the street. Their weekly lunch specials are worth the weekly trip to eat and now their breakfasts are phenomenal. Try their quiche! A couple weeks ago I had what they call their 'Pizza Burger'. WOW! Love the sandwiches It took us a while to find Artisan, but I am glad we did. It is a great little spot to eat a sandwich. I wish they had more indoor seating, but their patio is very nice. And the food quality is excellent. The side dishes are always yummy. I love the Thai noodle salad!!
Artisan Deli a Find Artisan Catering and Deli is a hidden commodity. Its odd location in North Asheville near library and minimalist seating belies a wonderful staff and excellent food. We eat Artisan's lunch regularly because it is fresh and always savory. The owner makes a killer Thai pasta salad as a side. We have also had Artisan cater a party and found the service extremely professional and fare tasty.
