I had the pleasure of interviewing with Artis. For context, I’ve worked in personal care, long term care and memory care for most my career. I wouldn’t dare call Artis a facility as it far exceeds that word and feels like home. It is truly a lovely place. In my career I have never seen anything like Artis. This is going to be a long review, but I can't help myself! I'd give Artis Senior Living of West Shore 23 stars if I could! I've been Mom's live-in caregiver for 2 years and we'd reached the point where I'd done all I could do and I needed help. Mom's dementia was causing anger towards me while being dependent on me for help with meals, insulin for her diabetes, and personal hygiene. We are very pleased with the care and love that our dad has received at Artis. It is never easy to make the transition to memory care, but the team at Artis helped us and, more importantly, helped dad find a place where he feels comfortable and welcome. Everyone is patient, kind and passionate about their role in the lives of the residents, and for that we are extremely thankful.

I am so grateful for the team at Artis West Shore. I am so pleased and happy to have my Mom staying at Artis! She is safe, well taken care of, busy and happy. The staff are wonderful and attentive. They all strive to make the best possible life for all their residents! Thank you for doing what you do so well. I would not want her any other place
