Truly a well-managed and caring residence. I especially name, besides top management, Lheo, Sam, Ashley, Shatiah, and Maria. All the nurses, caregivers, and even the housekeepers are very cheerful and considerate.

The Administrative Staff at Artis Memory Potomac have gone out of their way to support the transition for my husband and for myself into their caring, supportive , and engaging environment. Their responsiveness is timely to all of my questions, concerns, and uncertainties as both my husband and I navigate this new & unfamiliar path in our journey of supporting his dementia journey. After having my 88 year old mother in two other care facilities where she received 5 fractures, I’m so grateful to have found Artis. Artis is a very special place and the people who work there are very special people. It’s what I had always hoped a home like this would be! In my opinion, and based on my personal experience, there is no other place where I can feel safe with my mother’s care. My husband spent a month in respite care at Artis. He was warmly welcomed by the staff and other residents there. Everyone is compassionate, professional and patient. Much thought goes into creative activities to engage and entertain the residents. The staff is cheerful and smiling, which is so important and not always the case in other places. I highly recommend Artis and hope to return there in the future.

How lucky and grateful my family and I are to have found the Artis residence and staff, who have taken in my beloved husband and provided him a safe, healthy, and compassionate environment. The Artis directors and staff members, with their cheer and skill, have made him feel welcome and vital in his new home. Activities abound and enrich him in ways we sadly could no longer provide for him at home. And, not only has Artis provided him a warm and loving community, but one for our family as well.
