His lack of care on so many levels risked my family members life at least twice. He is condescending and arrogant and couldn't diagnose his way out of a paper bag. Run away from this person that claims to be a doctor. I think he received his degree from Cracker Jack!
This dude is a joke. I seen so many doctors over the years and this is by far the worst I have ever seen bar none. I can't even put into words how poorly everything goes with this doctor
He had his back to me as he read The test results from my ER visit to me and what the doctors had wrote. He asked me things that I had already told him. I had asked him to call me by a shortened version of my name because I hate my full name for personal reasons. He was condescending and when I tried to advocate for myself about my medication he used my full name. He wouldn't look at me so I'm pretty sure that he has an issue with overweight people. Dr. Pettigrew is meh. It does feel like he just wants to push you out of his office so he can be on his way. I went in for some shoulder pain and he put orders in for surgery right away. Seemed extreme. The communication to patients is not very thorough either. I’m moving so I will no longer be seeing him. I have not heard good things about U of C medicine and it seems to be accurate.
I think he’s smart, but he does come off as disrespectful and condescending, maybe he doesn’t realize it. I remember being thoroughly pissed off during my first visit. Other reviewers have also mentioned this, and usually I think others are overreacting when I read their reviews, but I can confirm I felt the same way.
