Not a visit but paperwork that was required for someone that was very very important. Paperwork should have been completed in only a few minute has now taken 5 days. Paperwork that is supposed to be done within 24 hours of notification.
He is thorough and truly treats the patient not the symptoms. I would like to get old records to my new doctor. I am sorry that Dr. Sgalia is no longer available to me. He is the best.
Outstanding M.D. who has very capably treated me and four other members of my family. Uses testing and consultation as needed.Diagnostic and communication skills are superior. As a career healthcare professional, I appreciate his prudent use of medications and his willingness to hear patient preferences. I would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking a PCP, internist or geriatrician. His staff is the best anywhere!
Dr. Sgalia is very professional, yet personable. Appointment times are reasonable, yet the interaction with the Dr. is never hurried or rushed. Enough time is spent answering questions, or addressing current concerns. I have been around more medical professionals than the average person in the course of life. Dr. Sgalia is "OLD School" in his personal approach to healthcare, and patient interaction. In today's, 'Big Box Store Mentality' from hardware to heath, he is a throwback to yesteryear.
