Dr Brittis is a wonderful doctor. Thank you for treating me, I would travel from Savannah Ga to see him.As the travel got to much for me I started going to Dr Stephen’s in Savannah who is also a wonderful rheumatologist.
This place is a joke. No one picks up the phone. You can’t even speak to someone to make an appointment.
After putting me on Humira(Adalimumab), without determining efficacy of the treatment, Brittis sent me a letter that he will no longer be able to provide services to me. That is called in legal terms "patient abandonment". He didn't even have the courtesy to refer me to another rheumatologist, but had the audacity to call me personally at home and threaten me with "legal action", if I didn't stop contacting his office. I will definitely file a complaint with SC Medical Board about his lack competence, judgement and treatment... read more
I've never been treated like I was crazy before going to this doctor. He completely disregarded my medical history and diagnosed me solely based on labs from 3 months ago and depression from 3 years ago!! His diagnosis doesn't explain my joint damage, inflammation, enlarged thyroid or swollen lymphnodes because those aren't neurological or symptoms of fibromyalgia!!!
