Update: I have just found out that they have been refusing to send their office notes and labs to another rheumatologist, preventing me from getting treatment for my worsening muscle atrophy and painful malar rashes. My experience with Edgar Arturo Martorell was not only disappointing, it was medically negligent. I came to him with visible muscle atrophy, intense pain, and a CRP of 30.1, which is a clear sign of systemic inflammation. I also had an active, painful rash that worsens with heat and sunlight.
