My primary doctor sent me to see them after having slightly elevated lab work causing my muscles to break down ! I at times are in excruciating pain, at times can’t walk . I was told my protein in my body was elevated at over 1000 because I’m black. Sense all the test have hit there marker to there numbers .I’ve been dealing with just trying to get a clear diagnosis for yrs!! Dr. Hedge has been a wonderful doctor. She is thorough, and also very compassionate. She listens and gives great advice. I am happy with her as my doctor. her team is also very caring.

I have went several years being blown off my doctors, being sent to different speciality doctors and not listened to. As a I a young adult, most healthcare professionals would think I was exaggerating or even lying about the symptoms and pain I have had for a long time now. When I first saw Dr. Hegde for extreme leg pain, she told me I had a back issue and I was actually at the wrong specialist. She was totally correct. She was willing , however, to order an MRI and X-Rays to get me started. She then set up an appt. with a Neurosurgeon and test results were forwarded to him. I feel this was very efficiently handled and am grateful that she saved me time in getting to my issue.
