She went on to attend medical school at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, followed by an internal medicine residency program and a dedicated rheumatology fellowship program, both at Emory University.

Dr. Holden is a wonderful rheumatologist. She is kind, empathetic, listens, and genuinely wants to know how you are. She thoroughly examines you, gives prompt referrals if needed, offers alternative solutions and informs the patient on medications, lab work and what it means, and what to expect. I could not ask for a better rheumatologist and will continue to see her to treat my autoimmune conditions. She is brilliant and compassionate. I wish more health care providers were like her!
