Keep up the good work, Arterial! Downtowns and our neighborhood streets should be place to go TO and not THROUGH. Complete Streets create places where smaller more local businesses, that rely on people walking, thrive. There is no shortage of interstates and highways in this country. There is no reason a MAIN Street & Downtowns to serve that role.

In response to Christine Wood's comments, I'd like to proffer another POV as a biker and frequent visitor to downtown Millburn, because I find the redesign is entirely appropriate and a significant improvement over what was there before. A downtown should NOT be treated like the most expedient car/truck route between point A and B. That's how it was before the narrowing -- a result of misguided thinking that prioritized vehicular throughput over the needs of pedestrians and cyclists. Happy to see Milbrun now with a great downton area that reflects the City. Area has been transformed into a pleasant area to shop, eat or relax. Big step forward for Milbrun.
