I chose Artek Painting & Construction mainly because several neighbors had used them for projects and were pleased with the results. I too am extremely pleased with my new bathroom and with the updates made in our bedroom as well. Mike worked with me to design the bathroom and pointed me to resources for picking the materials and finishes. The bathroom is perfect - exactly what we had in mind. And that is the three stars. The other jobs that haven't been done after four months and having to find new contractor(s) brings the rating down. HOWEVER, we wanted him to replace out back fence and replace our kitchen counters. He said it could be done, and this was in MARCH, 2022. We've used Mike for years solving some big problems and helping us with some creative remodeling. Used him once again to install new patio tile. Even though his schedule was tight, he called us when he had some availability and started the next day and was done 4 days later. Great quality work and outstanding job management. Invoice always matches the original quote and he doesn't leave the job site until we're satisfied. Highly recommend Artek to anyone.

We used Artek for our first remodel & updating. The work completed was outstanding. I used them again to restore our Hurricane Harvey disastered home. Mike came in & assessed the damage & repairs needed. He immediately knew what I wanted. His creativity & ideas have always been practical & reasonable. BUT!! I don't know what happened, work stopped. We highly recommend Mike Jennings and Artek! We have used Mike for several projects over the years, from painting the outside of the house to large projects on the inside. It is rare to find a contractor you would work with more than once, and we plan to use him again soon for two complete bath remodels. Mike runs a tight ship.
