the food here was absolutely amazing!! he recommend the holy trinity then we also got a shrimp poboy and a roast beef poboy. we were all extremely pleased! the staff is awesome as well, they were super kind and personable! we were just stopping by on our way back to chattanooga but we will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!!
Found this gem while searching for local favorites in Hattiesburg, and it did not disappoint. Art of Roux is a bit off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the trip. The menu has something for everyone who loves Cajun food, from po'boys to gumbo to red beans and rice. Everything was made fresh and was delicious. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Hattiesburg
Stopped here on our way to Jackson from Pensacola on a whim. So good! The blackened shrimp salad was delicious with a fair amount of shrimp. Used the fancy sauce as the dressing. Potato salad had a good amount of spice. Husband had the fancy burger which is like a po’boy mixed with a burger. He said the ratio to meat and bread was perfect.
