Laundromat or art gallery? We are an art gallery right in the heart of Kimberley BC’s revitalized, historic downtown pedestrian area. Since our building housed laundry facilities for 50 years, we decided to keep calling it “The Laundromat” with a little nod to Andy Warhol's “The Factory”, hence the pop-art logo design. What a wonderful experience! A beautiful art gallery of local artists.
I always enjoy going into the Laudromat Gallery. Irma has the most interesting collection of artists! It’s such a friendly place… no pretensions here. I recently purchased a lovely piece of pottery and wanted to bring it home to Sidney BC. Irma (the owner) meticulously boxed up the art piece with substantial wrappings to allow for the movement of other household items in our car. So appreciated how careful she was with the art piece. I am thoroughly enjoying my wonderful work of art by Crown Creations!
