Maybe, but maybe not... I'll be blunt. The staff (one guy) was there. He was polite and helpful with the least amount of effort required. To be honest I was so happy to find there was a hardwood supplier so close to me in Pasadena, and one that is open on weekends.(I'm looking at you house of hardwoods). Bud sadly this place is a dump inside. Most of the lights were off or burnt out. And as for the Mill, it was a pigsty. Good deal on lumbar When I lived in Pasadena, these guys were closer then the Home Depot, so I decided to check them out. I got a pretty good deal on some lumbar to build a barrier on my balcony for my dogs. It worked out perfect and the guys were very helpful. I would say that the prices were comparable to the Home Depot.
Shop here for moldings Great place for molding...they have a big selection and other kinds they can order in quickly. Much higher quality than Home Depot, but their prices are still quite reasonable. Your contractor gets a discount too. Really helpful staff.
Get your fancy wood here This family-run lumber business carries a wide selection of Exotic and Domestic woods, which you just can't find at Lowe's or Home Depot. They do exceptional custom milling work and are always happy to answer questions. Its the perfect place to go for your upcoming remodeling needs!
vast selection of exotic hardwoods I don't know much (okay I don't know anything) about wood, but the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable here. They carry a huge variety of wood including Bloodwood, Zebrawood, Jatoba, Qtr. Sawn White Oak, Curly Maple, and also the more common varieties. They also have a variety of types of moldings you can special order.
