Arrowwood Always a fun place to go in the summer and the winter. Tons to do: swimming (inside and out), tennis, golf, waterpark, fishing, etc. Decent rooms and reasonable. We have always got the waterpark passes included with the room.
Nice accomidations, great breakfast Arrowwood is a personal favorite of mine. I've stayed there as have family and friends and the hotel offers a beautiful location ( on the lake of course!) and wonderful service. The rooms are spacious and quite a few offer lovely views of the lake. Whether it be summer of winter there's always something to do. Beautiful resort. We stopped at Arrowwood on our way through Alexandria this summer. The place is beautiful. We didn't see any of the rooms but we ate at the restaurant and checked out the waterpark. The waterpark is first rate. There are slides and a lazy river and a zero depth area. The outside beach area is beautiful too.
A decent weekend Staff is very pleasant and rooms are really clean (though somewhat on the smaller size for a resort). Plenty of activities for the entire family, both summer and winter. The indoor waterpark is fun, but the chlorine levels are extremely high and my eyes were hurting just sitting by the pool area without ever getting in the water.
