The wait time in A and E is completely unacceptable, 6 hours and counting. The chairs to sit on are rock hard and to be told oh no you’re not seeing a doctor you’re seeing a medic so no I can’t give you an estimated time! The staff are over worked but still have time to smile angels

I am unable to understand how the medical staff of this inhumane place which the ED in the Arrowe Park hospital in Wirral, can allow themselves to leave people as my son awaiting 5 hours after an ambulance dropped him here. A nurse has just updated us right now by letting us know that the waiting average time is now 7 hours , so if we want to leave. However, the ED waiting room is not so crowded, really precarious, poor and disappointing health care!

Unpleasant, dismissive behaviour of the one of receptionist. Triage professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Referred to OOH GP, who would not help, due to qualified nurse. The whole corridor between A&E and UTC field with patients on beds and ambulance crew next to them. Why? Because if the A&E doesn't accept patients from the ambulance services, patients are still under ambulance crew responsibility. And A& E doesn't bridge 4 hours in department per patient time.
