I recently visited Melbourne again and decided to stay at Arrow on Swanston, expecting a great city vibe, quality service, and comfortable amenities. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, there were three staff members at reception and several guests waiting for assistance. We are extremely disappointed with our stay. The hotel looked nothing like the advertised photos! It was outdated, poorly maintained and not clean. The smell of chlorine through our room was overpowering. It was so strong it burned our eyes. As someone with asthma, this has left me feeling like my chest is on fire today. This is a serious health concern, not just an inconvenience. I have nothing good to say except for the location of where it is. We rocked up, expecting an apartment, we waited 31 minutes to be talked to for the receptionist. Only got through telling them my name and that i had a stay booked. Then 31 minutes of them talking to one another. To make up for that, they gave me free parking. We got up to our room to find it was nothing like what we were expecting. We were told it would have a kitchenette, a living space with a couch and various other exciting things.
