This was a perfect home for three couples and two small children. It is showing its age, but only cosmetically. The bedrooms have no ceiling lights so they are quite dark. I was surprised that there were no recycling bins. The kitchen is well appointed and furniture in good shape. The hot tub was a bonus, And the garage is full of bikes, a shuffleboard game and a basketball throw. Lots of games in the living room . Fantastic for families. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back.
We loved the deck by the river with geese and ducks floating by. The sunroom with its little gas fireplace was a favorite morning spot and cozy kitchen with its fireplace. Hot tub was a very nice one and didn't have a strong chlorine smell like many do. Overall we loved staying here. One thing I would strongly recommend upgrading is the showers. Ceiling, overhead mounted shower heads are not at all practical for women and these are dated with low water pressure in the guest bath.
Our stay at Blue Eyrie was terrific. House was very clean and comfortable, very well appointed with everything you could need. Lovely deck areas. I would stay here again in spring/fall… be aware that the mini split is upstairs only. I was also very impressed with their prompt responses; they had the ice maker fixed same day.
Beautiful view from this home! Quiet location with a perfectly positioned hot tub to look over Hood River. Accommodations good for a two couples, but second bedroom mattress left a lot to be desired. Communication was excellent and prompt!
We loved this home it was so nice and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. The Hot tub was super big and was a favorite of ours. We also loved the outdoor seating but was sad the heater they showed in the picture wasn't there for the cold evenings. Beds were nice but a little firm for one our guests. We will definitely stay here again.
