Most of the packaged stuff in here, especially in the snacks aisle are all way past their dates of expiry. Despite repeated reporting of it to the staff, there seems to be no willingness to do the right thing and clear off those products from the shelves. I definitely do not recommend shopping here!
RecommendedI love their fresh veggies as well as some items on the shelf. The staff is friendly and most of the times they have enough inventory of the items I need. They are open till 10pm. It is convenient to go late for shopping groceries. They have point system so every purchase, the points are added to your tel. # and at certain points, you get 1 item free worth to those points. Tough competitor to this store is Patel brothers which is just 1 mile towards level crossing from this store. Overall I like to shop in this store.
This is the only place I go to by my Ayurvedic herbs for my hair products and to find my whole Jackfruits. They have all kinds of herbs & vegetables that I would be only able to get if I visited India. I love the prices and the quantity is Amazing.
Enormous selection of legumes, herbs, spices, vegetarian frozen foods, vegetables, nuts, flour, everything you need to eat healthily.
Love this market! Great selection of Indian and Persian foods and spices.
Worst store in this area. Not sure who they are passing the inspections. They sell worst/ expired stuff but not willing to remove them from store.
Yesterday I went to Around the World Market to purchase incense. The price advertised was 5 boxes for $3. Upon check out my total came up to $19 and some change. I took off 2 boxes from the bill which totaled to $11.18. It wasn't until I got home, that I realized that I was a victim of false advertisement. I've been an avid customer since 2010 because of the quality of the incense. Not sure why they would choose me as a victim of price gouging.. Sad.
