I've taken private lessons as well as participated in clinics run by Scott and his team at Around the Post Pickleball. Scott is great at coaching, explaining various techniques and making adjustments in my form, he is very experienced, patient and encouraging. I've made great progress in a short period of time. Scott and his team are all highly qualified and have years of coaching experience as well as pickleball teaching qualifications. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn or improve their game

I had a private session with Scott and was blown away by how much I learned in such a short time. As a tennis player, I’ve had a hard time adjusting to the softer touch needed for drop shots and dinking—but Scott helped those concepts finally click. We worked on other skills as well, and his ability to quickly spot where things were off and explain how to fix them is exceptional. New to the game of Pickleball, I just had my very first lesson with Scott. It was fantastic! Scott used up every minute of the time we had not only getting me started on basic and fundamental technics needed to play but he also simultaneously conveyed key strategies to understanding how the game itself is played. Great coaching and he really broke the game and strategy down. “Placement over Power” is my new goto phrase. He really helped improved my game.

My husband and I have only been to Scott’s clinics a few times so far and found them helpful and fun. He is a great teacher and we learned new skills each time we’ve been there. The clinics are kept to a maximum of 4 people so you get a lot of playing and practicing time. We hope this leads to becoming regular pickleball players out east and in the city. Thanks Scott and Bob!!!
