My husband and I have only been to Scott’s clinics a few times so far and found them helpful and fun. He is a great teacher and we learned new skills each time we’ve been there. The clinics are kept to a maximum of 4 people so you get a lot of playing and practicing time. We hope this leads to becoming regular pickleball players out east and in the city. Thanks Scott and Bob!!!
I had the pleasure of taking lessons with Scott and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to fine tune your game he has a great ability to break things down in a clear ,encouraging and fun way.He is extremely knowledgeable about the game but what sets him apart is his patience and attention to individual improvement.Beyond technical skills he creates a positive and welcoming environment. If you’re looking to learn or improve your pickleball game Scott is the best instructor!
Wife dragged me for pickleball clinic with Scott at Around the Post pickleball and can’t believe how much I am enjoying it. I was never a tennis fan but Scott’s enthusiasm and step by step instructions have been one of my favorite things this summer. He is patient, entertaining and a great teacher. We have also met great people and this is one of the few very reasonably priced activities I look forward to a couple times a week. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
Placement, not power! Good … better … that’s what I’m talking about! Always with positive words of encouragement, Scott had us feeling confident with our game after just a few lessons, and confident we could win games with a few more. And he’s fun to be around as an added bonus. Highly, highly recommend.
I would give Scott and Around the Post Pickleball six stars if I could. As a beginner, I really appreciated how skilled Scott is....he makes everything easy to understand, and his energy made learning the game SO much fun!!!!
