Sad to say it but I feel like its going downhill. Been coming here on and off for a few years and it seems as though, they have just kinda given up. Walked through the door and instead of saying, "welcome!" "Come on in", I was greeted with the cook/owner? Tell what i think was her daughter, that "there is a customer!!!" In a very rude tone. We tried this pathetic excuse for a restaurant when vacationing recently in the area. The service was adequate however the quality of the food was not. Nothing was fresh or cooked properly. The fish and chips, well the slimy mushy peas were the highlight. The chips were small overcooked, maybe recovered from the garbage bin. We agree with the reviewer who called the food disgusting. We cannot understand how in an area known for excellent food options this place stays open. Would not recommend.
We ordered the My Burger and the Strawberry Spinach salad and both were delicious! The burger was done perfectly and dressed well and large. The salad was beautiful, healthy, delicious and ample sized. I saved part of it for my lunch tomorrow. I would order both again!
People were great! Super friendly and you could tell the genuine emotion in the generational mom and mom shop.
