I will never go to Corning hospital again! Emergency or not! At Arnot Medical Center- I can tell you the nurses on the 2nd floor are wonderful except for a couple of night shift nurses who were condescending, rude and could care less about their patients. If you aren't compassionate and kind, why are you a nurse? **I was told afterward that the nurse that treated me so badly was a travelling nurse.
Worst care ever had, zero compassion ever. Don't recommend going to there er. You can sit in the waiting room having a heart attack and they do nothing. If you want to go somewhere and sit and not get seen go to arnot if you want actual help go anywhere else!
Went to the ER as prescribed by my Arnot family DR. For suspicion of a appendicitis. Sat in the waiting room for 7 hours and all I got was a blood and urine sample. Never got to see a Dr.or got a ct scan that my Dr wanted me to get. I left after the 7th hr.
