About this business

Arno's Ristorante is popular among families as well as for entertaining clients. It serves some great Italian cuisine, and the oysters and clams are hot favorites. Chill out with friends at the cocktail lounge, which has some really innovative cocktails, or sit back and enjoy a delightfully entertaining off-Broadway (but very close to Broadway) theater production. There is also a decent collection of malt scotches and bourbons. Private rooms are available for meetings, conferences and weddings.

arno Arno Restaurant like the Arno River is classically Italian. The ambiance of dark wood and large mirrors reminds you of Tuscany. Interestingly enough Tuscany is famous for its beef and there is very little beef on Arno’s menu. What Arno does have is someone who knows fish and seafood. Its Calamari was freshly done, fried Calamari that sits becomes greasy and rubbery, and the sauce was nicely piccante, just a little heat. Avoid the Mozzarella and Basil it was very plain Jane. There are daily specials and we got Bass wit... read more

Elegant Dining This room is large and elegant. Very nicely appointed, kind of a surprise considering its location. Make sure you have reservations and be prepared for very good Northern Italian dining. The menu is extensive, and if you can think of it, you will probably find it here. It is an expensive meal so be prepared to spend a lot. You will enjoy your visit here, as long as someone else is paying for it.

Disappointing, convenient (for them) "ripoff charge". Went before Broadway show, entered, SPECIFICALLY stating i did not want to eat (to avoid stomach problems at Show) BUT my friend would eat a full meal..."is that OK"? Fine they assured me. So she orders a pasta dish and i told the waiter i'd "pick off her plate"...There's no "SHARING charge" right? He shook his head "No". When the order arrived, it was in 2 separate plates, equal proportions, which i at first thought was nice but said "Uh Oh". Sure enough, they charged $1... read more

The staff was hostile and insulting. I have never encountered that before. If you like low brow and hostile service, this is the place for you. Unbelievable.
