Gene cane out to remove a toilet and then replace one. I, unfortunately, bought the wrong size. He informed me of this after he installed it. Originally, he quoted 97.50 hr and said he would charge me for 11/2 hr. After connecting me with a supplier and ordered the correct toilet that I would pay for he asked if 1 1/2 hr was fair. We were really happy with Gene’s workmanship along with how fast he was in & out of our home. Highly recommend him.
The guy rudely and abruptly hung up on me during a call - no it wasn't a dropped call. Very intentional and unprofessional.
Definitely would not recommend. Had some pipes burst right before we got the keys to our new place. Instead of fixing all the leaks, the hot water tank was shut off. When my husband got home and turned it back on, the pipes still leaked. $500 later and I had to have someone else come out. He treated me like I was inconveniencing him.
Gene came out to do a variety of work, from installing valves, pressure reducer, repiping copper, and a hot water tank exchange. His excellent craftsmanship work ensured the installation was cleanly designed and straightforward. He identified other plumbing issues that I was unaware of as well as his ideas for our future bathroom remodel. I would not hesitate in calling Armstrong Plumbing and will be calling Gene for some other work soon — EXCELLENT!
