Last evening, March 6th, 2026, a Joyful and Festive group of our Members, former & present Ministers, & Magnificant Friends celebrated the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northfield's (UUFN) 60th Anniversary since our Fellowship was first founded on March 6th, 1966! 🥳 Armory Square was the perfect place to hold this celebration and we so appreciated this wonderful, beautiful. and easy to access Local Venue in which to hold our spiritual community's milestone celebration! The remodeling of the former Northfield National Guard Armory into an Event Center and concert venue is quite amazing. In the early '60s I remember seeing Carmen The Nurse From channel 4 there for an appearance! This reimagined building retained the old classic feel of the building, but gave it a fun, modern twist. It's a great place for concerts and socializing. It's also great to have a fun bar there where one can get a beverage to enjoy in this festive space. Liz and her husband were absolutley amazing hosts for our wedding reception. They went above and beyond to help us plan, organize and execute our special day. The space was perfect for sharing food and drinks, laughing and dancing with our family and freinds. They helped us find catereing options, worked with vendors we brought in, managed an excellent bar, and made clean up a breeze. I highly recommend consdering the Armory Square Event Center for your next event!
I would like to start off by saying, the venue is absolutely beautiful. The venue owner/coordinator on the other hand, seems like she doesn’t enjoy her job. After we signed the contract, I was constantly feeling like I was bothering her when I had questions or like she genuinely didn’t want to work with me.
