The staff are rude and ghetto. The prices and doctors are great but this place needs to work on their social skills with the patients. I took my pup for a grooming and someone had told me to go upstairs so ofcourse I went and when I was up there the lady was yelling at me and my mother and saying why where we there. I was pretty surprised and upset because this lady just got ticked off for a simple mistake. I went here after my dog had constant sneezing for 3 days straight. As a walk-in I got there 45 mins before the doors opened just to be safe. 20 mins before the doors opened, some of the staff arrived. It was over 90 degrees outside and instead of offering water to the dogs (like most places do) they stood outside chatting and smoking cigarettes. Excellent Service – On Saturday, 5/13/12, we took our 2 month old Puggle for his first vet visit since we purchased him a week ago. Loved it! Every single staff member we interacted with was polite and professional. Dr. Metheny was AWESOME. The vet tech that assisted her was great as well. They answered all of our questions thoroughly and took a lot of time with our puppy. Dr. Matheny even allowed my aspiring vet daughter to "assist" her which thrilled my daughter beyond belief. Dr. Metheny is awesome. She answered all of our questions and knew everything about our dog's breed. Her vet tech was also terrific. Every staff member we encountered was polite and professional. Yes the waiting area was small but that's not a major deal. Also, as stated elsewhere, the waiting area was NOT dirty and did NOT smell (more than expected with a room full of dogs and cats). Armory Dog is a good place they treat you so good with calmness nothing to worried about, just one thing if you a person who don't like to wait a whole lot just make an appoitment cause there is people always in fronts as Walk IN. I don't have no complain they treated my dog ( FLUFFY ) with lots of love and perfect. PLUS THEY VERY VERY CHEAP.... NEED A VET IN THE BRONX GO TO ARMORY DOGS!!!!

I hated this place the very first time I walked through the door two years ago, our dog was not right and someone recommended it as being affordable and close by, they were right, the place is both but I still hated it, that is until they saved our dog's life. This place might have a really small waiting area but they treat animals the best! I have taken my puppy twice for regular vaccinations & we might have to wait for 25-30minutes but it is worth the wait because of the love they have for animals. Plus it's the cheapest place there is in NY. can't wait for the next visit to finally be able to walk my dog :D

its too small of a waiting area the doctors are great but the wait is too long . even with appointment. and the stuff member's need to be a little nicer . and caring.
