Such a beautiful area and our expectations were high having come along waterfall way from Coffs harbor. This caravan park was quite possibly the worst we have stayed in, given that it was very near a big town. We were booked in for a week due to work schedules and when we looked around the park, depressing would b a good word to describe the surroundings. Very run down and shabby whether talking about grounds, amenities buildings, Tennis court, roads . Even the jumping pillow looked neglected with dirty sand surrounding it. ... read more

After reading the reviews we took a chance on this and still decided to stay. Well we received a text to say that due to the long weekend they had to close the office at 12pm due to staffing shortages. Ok not a problem I actually offered to work for our stay as we are managers of a park. I went into the toilets ( everyone complained about) and at that time I could see a couple of things but not a lot. Just training of staff. When arriving at our lovely cabin (yes it was very nice)we found that it hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests, not a problem, these things happen. We were then given the keys to room 158!! What an absolute shocker. Walking in we could see the floors may have been swept but not mopped. It was filthy, as was the door mat sitting inside. I used the chux under the sink to clean it a bit and it turned black. Husband then went to the loo - only to be blessed with someone else’s massive skid mark!
