I was just there today with a burning sore throat and no voice. I was 15 minutes late and the office no showed me, but could physically see I was not feeling well and suggested I go to Urgent Care. What is happening in the medical field when the health care providers have lost empathy for someone standing in their face visibly sick and turn them away for being late for their appointment. am writing this because of a negative experience I had yesterday at the Memorial Herman Convienient care center in Katy Texas,with Nurse Practitioner Julie Armendariz. I arrived feeling unwell with chest and nasal congestion. My usual physician, Dr. Nkechi Nvene was unavailable, so I saw NP Armendariz.
