We had gone to Armondo's often. Some friends of ours had said that the owner can be kind of a jerk, but we had never had much to do with him until our last visit. Now I will never return. Four of us were seated at a table for six, with two more people joining us as soon as they parked their car. After showing up on time for a 7pm reservation, this restaurant's owner, Antonio Sarlo, told our large group that our table had been given away and that we were welcome to eat somewhere else if we didn't want to wait (not easy for 12 people on a Friday night). When we asked for clarification on the reason for his rather inappropriate and aggressive behavior, he ORDERED US TO LEAVE HIS RESTAURANT, which we did gladly at that point.
