Can not get an appointment with Dr. Villarreal. Staff always says he does not have openings and you have to see the PA, which she is not good. Staff is rude.
Been over 2 year’s that I’ve been seeing the PA and it’s been an awful experience. I am a stoke patient and it’s so irritating request prescription refills, it takes them weeks just to get a refill. On October 28th I contacted the office, made a request for my MEDICAL RECORD, Mando took the $25 payment SAME DAY and here we are November 15th and still no Medical Records, was told by staff that it would take 3-5 business days. I have a disabled mom I’m taking care of and they won’t let me in the building with her. I go with her everywhere. I don’t believe that they take either her or my responsibility to her seriously.
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Villarreal for years. He is a very good doctor. He is very knowledgeable in a lot of things. Also when we need to see someone else he always refers us to good doctors to. He takes his time with us and explains things to us. We are very happy with him.
If I could give zero stars I would. The office staff is extremely unprofessional. They require the geriatric patients to come to their office in person for medical release forms instead of scanning the forms and emailing them to the patient. My father waited for 9 days to receive a renewal on 2 RX. Still no approval for life saving meds. My mother was almost denied care due to 2 previous ER visits in less than 24 hrs. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY TO THIS DR. His office staff is a refelection of him.
Dr. Villarreal, only got to see him once in two years, the rest was by his PA and I have several health issues. It seems he is running a crank out as many patients as possible practice. I think he has hired is incompetent family to run his office because paper work is always wrong, and appointments are cancelled frequently when the PA decides she doesn't want to stay until 4 PM that day. If you want refills you have to see him every two months. I always get blood work not donecorrectgetbills.
