I went to the front office before work to let Geonna know I had an issue with my sink. She told me it would be fixed ASAP. It was taken care of by the time I got home from work. Geonna and the staff at Arlo are very attentive to the residents needs.
TL;DR: The Arlo Apartments Pros: Excellent location, plenty of parking, decent gym and pool, and a convenient mail/package room. Cons: Unhelpful maintenance, frequent electrical breaker trips, lack of hot water, broken amenities (golf simulator), unenforced pet waste rules, weed smell in common areas, and dirty balconies. Bottom Line: A well-located complex with good parking, but ongoing maintenance and community issues make it hard to justify the $2,000/month rent. Restaurant/bar side I have no complaints for absolutely amazing. Store side…… horrible most of the girls at the register are nice but the one with the gray/ purple hair and glasses extremely rude flirts with customers making them feel uncomfortable when u have a problem with something she blames it on you and told me “that’s not my problem” I just watched her try to convince a customer that bc she sold him a winning ticket she gets half. I will spend the 10 min drive to forest city for gas to avoid her. That’s all
I have lived here a year and going to renew since it has mostly been very good, the units are nice and have big windows for lots of natural light and it's quiet and peaceful. (at least in my experience since I live on the top floor - made possible by the fast elevators) I recently had an issue where my heat was not working and it was going to be 10° overnight. I called the emergency phone # at about 9pm at night and Claude showed up in about 20min to repair the water heater burner (which is how the apartments get heat). That... read more
