Estuvimos con mi esposa 4 días en Washington D. C. Valió la pena incluir el cementerio de Arlington. Un lugar sereno, impactante, con más de 400 mil tumbas de soldados que combatieron en algunas de las guerras. Está en las afueras de DC, pero se llega bien con el subte. Le bajé el puntaje por la experiencia que tuvimos con el tranvía. Dada las distancias entre las 3 paradas que hace en el recorrido, conviene no hacerlo caminando. This is our third time visiting the cemetery. Beautiful as always and the changing of the guard is always amazing But as we age, being able to walk around is more difficult. But being retired and on a fixed income, paying $70 or more for a “tour” is hard to justify. Seems that as this is a government installation, that the fees should be more reasonable. I’m retired and a disabled veteran so not being able to enjoy all the history and sacrifices that have been made, is somewhat difficult.
