I had just one day to explore during my week-long conference in DC, and visiting Arlington National Cemetery was one of the most meaningful and memorable experiences of my trip. A must see in the DC area. Prepare to spend a full day. Hop on hop off is brilliant with great guides. Staff all through are knowledgeable and very helpful.
Wonderful experience, you can get close up to the guards by the rail when they walk by and get some amazing pictures. Would recommend staying closer to the hour to witness changing of the guards.
Very beautiful, sad, but there isn't alot to do other than wander around, see some memorials, see the changing of the guard (which gets real packed when it happens) and see the Graves. No real construction going on also.
