Used to be a great vet, but not anymore. Getting a hold of them is impossible, they don't even call you back if you leave a message and a callback number. I called for weeks to get an appointment for my dog to be spayed, nobody answered and nobody returned my calls. I finally had to go in person to make the appointment, which is inconvenient and takes time out of my already busy days. Unacceptable.
The veterinarian dismissed our concerns, spoke only to one of two family members present, and actually said "I didn't understand a word you said," instead of "I'm sorry , could you repeat that? I had my stethoscope in." She didn't counsel us on potential effects of sedation. Arlington Heights in general simply won't understand that their chill protocol is worse than useless for our dog.I'm accustomed to a pretty low standard of medical care for myself, but i expect more from a veterinarian than what my wife, my dog, and I go... read more
Incredibly disorganized and providers are prone to entering appointments without getting caught up to date on patient charts. My cat has dealt with a chronic health problem for over a year with pretty much no help from Arlington. In the past, providers have consistently failed to call me back with a treatment plan after being promised multiple times that someone would be in touch. I would not recommend if you pet requires care beyond basic checkups, they seem ill equipped to handle pretty much anything beyond that.
came here because i was looking for a closer vet (rather than keeping with banfield an hour away). not a huge fan… as others have noted, the staff seem more interested in collecting money than caring for your pet. we brought in our cat due to some dermatitis. nurse took her back to take a look and came back to tell us that she’d offer us a quote for a dental extraction. i thought at first they’d confused our cat with another one; there had been 0 discussion of her dental health, just straight to how much it would cost. final... read more
