I was sick when I saw her and she actively did not prescribe anything. She actually blew me off when I asked. She said it was probably viral and that she had nothing that would make it go away quickly. I am now worse and had to go to urgent care for the same thing. They prescribed antibiotics.
I love coming to see Dr. Arlene Perkins, she is really advocating about your needs and listens to your concerns. Gem of a person and really attentive as a doctor, I recommended her in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a doctor. The place has also really incredible nurses, techs and assistants.
An amazing PCP that I am grateful to have found years ago. Thoughtful and caring. She genuinely spends time and doesn’t try to rush (this can lead to long waits though). My only reason for 4 stars is that the office staff including the one person available to assist with referrals are usually not as helpful as they could be. Perhaps they need much more training.
