The food service leaves a lot to be desired. My fiancé has been there for a week so far and they ran out of food 3 times. My feelings are, if you want someone to get better, you need to give them sustenance first.
Let me start off by saying Arkview helped me hit the ultimate reset button with my life! I was in inpatient from early January to early February and I’m still a few weeks out from completing Intensive Outpatient. Not only did it help me get sober from alcohol, the amount of work that was done with my mental health and self-care was phenomenal! If you have a problem with drug or alcohol addiction, Arkview is a wonderful place to start your recovery. The facilities are clean and well kept. Hot meals are provided three times a day and snacks are available all of the time. People are treated with respect and are encouraged to share about their issues. Sleeping accommodations are no more than two persons to a room, with every bedroom having a bathroom. The clinical staff specialize in addition treatment. You're not searching recovery centers & reading reviews if you don't probably need to go to one. Arkview is a really good option. The staff are excellent. Just about everyone on the payroll is in recovery. You will receive medical evaluation & treatment within several hours, as opposed to days. There is a real sense of community that continues beyond your discharge. You will have resources & freedoms other facilities don't offer. When you decide to take that leap, Arkview is an excellent place to land.
