Not one to ever leave bad reviews or review anything at all, but on your website you advertise that you are always open 24/7. The fact that this is one of the only 24/7 animal care and emergency places around and they were closed with no warning on anything is terrible. Great staff. Has a Veterinary Dermatology Specialist come in from Memphis on Thursdays to treat dogs like our Lucy.
I don't even know where to begin with these people. My 8 month old puppy broke her leg December 28th. I took her to my vet and get x-rays, blood panel, medications, etc and got referred to AVES who my vet sends all of the x-rays, etc to. I frantically wait for a call from AVES to get my puppy scheduled for surgery. The day goes on and I hear nothing. Do not use this place if at all possible!! They are horrible! We took our sick dog to them and had this awful woman tell us that he would be fine and they would call us with updates and he would be cared for but we called no less than 20 times over the next 24 hours trying to even get them to answer the phone finally some desk person answered and said she was too busy to check on my baby but she was sure he was fine. Played a major role in saving my sweet Valkyrie girl from parvo. Staff answered all my questions and never once did I feel like I was bothering them calling for an update. I can not thank them enough for their part in saving my sweet girl. You all are absolutely wonderful we know if we have any emergency or something that’s her primary vet can’t handle where we will go.
Terrible customer service, stitch work came undone. She also had swelling due to no drain being placed after her operation. Took my dog back to this emergency vet for them to fix the incision and they did nothing but bandaged it up and still charged $350. Had to end up taking her to my local vet for them to open her back up, clean it out, and restitch her. This clinic has no experience with IVDD. They are a conveyor belt and getting an update is impossible or someone will tell you wrong info just so you would stop calling. They told me to put to sleep a healthy dog. Then a week later changed their minds and wanted him to have not one but 2 surgeries. He had a surgery at Hillcrest Animal hospital and no one ever made a suggestion of ending my dogs life. Stay away from this ER and especially the neuro surgeon.
Our sweet dog a snake bite on her paw and snout. It was around 8pm, so we had to come to LR from Rsvl! No vets here were available for emergencies! Thank goodness they were polite, caring and efficient! They explained that there were 2 critical care animals ahead of us, but she was being monitored. The vet explained why they were running the test, and what they were looking for to make sure she was treated correctly. Our girl is doing so much better! Thank you for all your help!
